I had the fortune of being raised in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. My parents fell in love with the islands while on vacation and moved the family less than a year later. I was 2 years old at the time and was raised in Kailua, where I graduated from high school.
By the time I started college, law was my desired path. I attended college at the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon and was involved in the Air Force ROTC program. Upon graduation from the University of Portland in December 1999 I was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force.
The Air Force took me to San Antonio, Texas where I attended law school at St. Mary's University, School of Law. Upon graduation in 2003 I began my legal career as a JAG in the United States Air Force - stationed in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ready to relocate closer to family, I moved to Oregon in 2007 with my two daughters where I have lived ever since. Today I live in Tualatin with my husband-partner in crime and our modern family of five kids and two pets.
